Developed by Visual Concepts, NBA 2K19 is currently celebrating The Chinese New Year 2019. The basketball simulation video game based on National Basketball Association (NBA) has declared a new NBA 2K19 MyTeam promotion involving from the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) over the years. Some top NBA and CBA players like Jeremy Lin and Yao Ming are also included in the video game roster.
NBA 2K19, which was officially released on September 11, 2018 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Microsoft Windows and Nintendo Switch, has already received favourable reviews from the critics. Some have already called the video game the best of the series although its process of microtransactions was universally criticized.
Yao Ming is currently celebrated in NBA 2K19 MyTeam with a Pink Diamond card. The 38-year old retired player played for the Shanghai Sharks of the CBA and the Houston Rockets of the NBA. Whereas, Linsanity creator NBA player Jeremy Lin along with Stephon Marbury is also celebrated in MyTeam with Pink Diamond cards as part of the new holiday promotion. The Lin card hold 97 overall rating that indeed enhances many gamers' line-ups.
According to VGR, apart from the above-mentioned cards (referring Jeremy Lin, Yao Ming and Stephon Marbury), the gaming enthusiasts can also look for other cards representing NBA and CBA connections such as Amethyst Gilbert Arenas, Diamond Tracy McGrady, Amethyst Yi Jianlian and Diamond Josh Smith. The 37-year old former American basketball player Gilbert Arenas also returns to NBA 2K19 MyTeam.
The globally acclaimed rapper Travis Scott earlier curated five soundtracks that have already been featured in the game. The soundtracks offer a good number of musical artists like Three Days Grace, Alison Wonderland, Lil Uzi Vert, PARTYNEXTDOOR, Marshmello, BROCKHAMPTON to name a few.
