Toyin Abraham ignores feud with Akindele, sells tickets for movie, ‘Battle on Buka street

Nigerian actress, Toyin Abraham, seems not to be bothered about the silent cold battle between her and her colleague, Funke Akindele.

She was spotted recently selling tickets for her colleagues’ movie at the cinema.

The supremacy battle between the two started last year when Iyabo Ojo, revealed that some people were paid by Akindele to rubbish Toyin Abraham’s movie, ‘The Ghost and the Tout’.

Funke Akindele had also released her movie, ‘Omo Ghetto’ the same time Abraham released ‘The Ghost and the Tout’. The two films premiered the same day and fans had to clash about which of the movies to watch in the cinema.

After Ojo’s outburst, Akindele and Abraham shunned each other’s birthday celebrations while looking the other way and celebrating their other colleagues, who had their birthdays on the same day.

In 2022 also, the two actresses released their cinema movies almost at the same time. ‘Battle On Buka Street’ and ‘Ijakumo’ were released in December 2022.

However, Abraham has put the past behind her to embrace peace. She was spotted at the Imperial Cinema in Osogbo while trying to promote her film, ‘Ijakumo’.

A video, which surfaced online, captured the moment the mother of one also helped to sell tickets to Funke Akindele’s new movie while promoting her own movie too.

The act has since been applauded by fans, who praised the actress for being mature despite the supremacy battle between the two.

A fan noted that it wasn’t the first time that Abraham would be engaging in such a benevolent act.

She also sold tickets for Akindele’s movie when she visited Silverbird Cinema on December 27, 2022.
