How to root with Kingo Root:
Step 1. Visit the official Kingo Root website with the browser on your Android Nougat phone and directly download the Kingo Root apk file on your Android device memory. The download process will start automatically, and if there are some notifications about KingoRoot.apk, click "OK" to continue. When the download is complete, you can find it in the "Download" folder on your Android phone. (Please make sure your Android smartphone or tablet is on a WiFi network, because the rooting process requires a stable and uninterrupted internet connection.

Step 2. Install the KingoRoot apk file on your Android Nougat phone.

While maybe the final preview or public release of the Android 7.0 Nougat operating system can break how SuperSU rooted, but we believe that this requires minor workarounds and rooting will not be perfect anymore. SuperSU v2.82 works with the NRD90M Android Nougat 7.0 update on the Nexus 5X and 6P.

But because we are in the era of open source operating systems, then you can still Root Android 7.0 Nougat even without a PC or Laptop. Chainfire has released the SuperSu 2.82 Nougat package which allows you to root Android 7.0 Nougat devices from Recovery mode.

This method is a bit more complicated than the previous tips above, so we highly recommend you to give it a try if the first root method doesn't work to root your Android Nougat device. Now, you need to do some preparations to do the Android Nougat rooting process.

How to root with SuperSU:
  • Download and transfer the SuperSU zip file to your device's internal storage memory.
  • Turn off your Android phone
  • Boot your device into TWRP recovery mode.
  • Hit the "Install" button and select the SuperSU zip file that you downloaded to your device in the first Step.
  • After selecting the .zip file, do "Swipe to Confirm Flash" at the bottom of the screen to start the flashing process.
  • After the SuperSU has finished flashing, the "Reboot System" option will appear, choose that option.
Done, that's all you need to do. To verify root access on a running Android Nougat device, download/install a root checker app from Play Store. Meanwhile, to manage SuperUser access rights on all applications on Android Nougat smartphone devices that require root access, you can download and install the SuperSu application from the Google Play Store.
