Local game developers see great opportunities as the popularity of the Mobile Legends game. The game has been downloaded 100 million times in Playstore.
However, did you know that there is an online multiplayer online battlle arena (MOBA) game made by Indonesian children? One of the MOBA games made by RI that will be released soon is Battle of Satria Dewa.
Battle of Satria Dewa itself was developed by Bang Idea Indonesia in collaboration with one game developer, Semisoft and the animation company, Lumine.
Unlike the MOBA game in general, the owner of BANG Idea Indonesia, Ricky Wijaya explained that this MOBA game will present a brawler game system that focuses on team fight and not about leveling grinding.
"The reason we choose the MOBA Brawler type is because according to the research we have done, MOBA Brawler will become a popular genre for the next 5 years,"
Specifically, this game has a game mechanism similar to the Brawl Stars game. So the player will be faced with a situation of fighting directly in the arena without the existence of a tower or creep system. Ricky Wijaya explained that there will be four game modes that players can try, namely 3v3, 5v5, domination, and team match.
"For hero roles, this will be our uniqueness, especially to the namers that we are currently developing from Mahabrata puppet stories, but the roles will follow those already known in the game world such as mages, tanks and others," Ricky explained.
Ricky explained, the Battle of Satria Dewa will continue with the story of Jagat Satria Dewa, films that are also being produced as well as other ecosystems.
Therefore Ricky will present the Satria Dewa Universe characters in the game such as Gatot Kaca and Arjuna. There are also Yudhistira, Bharatayudha, Bima, Nakula-Sadewa, Srikandi and Kurusetra.
"MOBA brawler genre is not too much and the most important thing is that this Battle Satria Dewa game is arguably the first Indonesian game to elevate legendary characters and the Battle of Satria Dewa game is part of the largest universe in Indonesia and is complementary, "
The new Battle of Satria Dewa will be officially launched in December 2020. But targeted in the third quarter of 2020, BANG Idea Indonesia opens a closed beta phase server and invites several Indonesian gamers to be able to try this game.
"This game will be launched in December 2020 adjacent to the film release but without disturbing each other's momentum. This game has begun to develop from last year, now we are in the phase of character development, game assets and environment," he said.
