Cody’s Wish dropped out of the top 10 in the sixth edition of the world’s best racehorse Rankings for 2023 and now is in a tie for 13th.
He remains the highest ranked U.S. horse, tied with White Abarrio. Other U.S.-based horses in the latest rankings are Arcangelo and Up to the Mark, tied for 19th, and Elite Power, tied for 28th.
Equinox, who earned a berth in the Breeders’ Cup Turf with his win in the Grade 1 Takarazuka Kinen, retains the No. 1 spot in the rankings.
Hukum, also an automatic qualifier for the Turf after winning the King George VI And Queen Elizabeth Stakes (Gr. 1), joined the list in a tie with Mostahdaf for second place.
Also new to the top 10 is Auguste Rodin, another Turf qualifier with his win Friday in the Royal Bahrain Irish Champion Stakes (Gr. 1).
