Two of the most in-form players this year will square off in the US Open women’s singles final when world number one Iga Swiatek and fifth seed Ons Jabeur play at Arthur Ashe Stadium on Saturday.
Polish star Swiatek will be shooting for her second Grand Slam title of 2022 after winning the French Open – and has held the top ranking since April.
Tunisian Jabeur would be ranked second if she got the rankings points for reaching the recent Wimbledon final and is primed to challenge the Pole in what should be an epic contest.
