Punchestown betting tips

3.00: Hercule Du Seuil 2/5 (2pts)

Zanahiyr was a nice 10/11 winner for the tips on Tuesday as the NAP of the day and it seems another odds-on favourite can add to the winners here in the hope that there can be another big drift in the odds, as he was initially priced at 1/2 the morning of the race.

Hercule Du Seuil, trained by Willie Mullins owned by JP McManus won easily in late September at Roscommon beating Calico by 12 lengths making it four wins from five over fences.

He’s well-weighted to strike again in Graded company, though Lucid Dreams does present an interesting challenge as he’s unexposed over fences but must need to put in a huge run to beat the top-rated Horse here, who’s going for five wins on the trot.

4.10: Conflated 5/4 (1pt)

Delta Work is a 5/1 shot for this and has a bit to find on Conflated who consistently runs at the top level over fences at this kind of distance, whereas this Gordon Elliott-trained horse in the Gigginstown House Stud colours prefers the bigger stamina tests.

Of course, he has won over this distance before but can’t be favoured over Conflated who was third in the Cheltenham Gold Cup in March, won the Savills Chase in December and has only run in Grade 1 races in his last seven outings.

Minella Indo will present the biggest test but Conflated has beaten him before, at Leopardstown in February 2022.

This horse who will be ridden by Rachael Blackmore has dropped massively in the weights since and will be given 6lb rather than running off the same mark.

That will make a few doubt Conflated’s ability but it still seems too much for Minella Indo to overcome. That being said if it’s not convincing enough, a reverse forecast will easily be the best option.

Nottingham betting tips

3.12: Midair 13/8 (1pt)

Suited by the step up in trip last time out and only finished a length off of Caviar Heights who went straight to a Group 2 on his next run.

He was sweating before the off that day and if settling into things better this time could really be a smart winner in a field that looks very beatable on the bare form.

Frankel colt trained by Harry & Roger Charlton has better form than most and experience in comparison to three newcomers, one of which The King’s General, owned by the King and Queen looks interesting trained by John & Thady Gosden and so should be tracked in the market ahead of the off.

Ludlow betting tips

3.20: Rexem 5/4 (1pt)

Sure Touch makes his debut over fences having been off for 327 days and it’s difficult to make a big argument for him based on that especially as Rexem was just off of Calico last time out.

That form translates well as this horse was giving a stone in weight to that horse who also finished behind the highly rated and tipped Hercule Du Seuil last time out.

Just four runners in this and the regular rider looks set to get another fine tune out of him in this, despite being given a tough starting mark here.

Kempton betting tips

5.25: Imperial Guard 10/11 (1pt)

Oisin Murphy and Andrew Balding are a great combination and a great one at Kempton with this Night Of Thunder two-year-old colt.

He placed just third behind Orne on debut here and that horse is heading to the Group 3 Autumn Stakes on Saturday as a 9/2 contender, suggesting this race in novice company is a great one to find from the yard.

6.00: Middlesex 4/1 each-way (1pt)

Tipped to win last time out at Beverley at 9/2 but had to settle for second behind a convincing run from Really Darn Hot.

Placed well enough to suggest he will improve again having ran on the all weather on debut and with William Buick on board looks an interesting play behind the favourite Tamfana.
