Where will the 2023 WTA Merida Open be played?
The 2023 Wta Merida Open will take place in Merida, Mexico – the capital of the Mexican state of Yucatan. The tournament will run from February 18 (qualifying) until February 26, 2023, when the women’s singles final will be held.

In-form American Alycia Parks is the fifth seed and joins the field at a career-high ranking of No. 51.

It is one of the most open fields with four players ranked inside the Top 50 vying to lift the WTA 250 title in Merida. And undoubtedly the biggest headline act during the week will be Poland’s Magda Linette who arrives in Merida fresh off a breakthrough run at the Australian Open.
Linette isn’t the only player who made waves in Melbourne that is playing in Mexico. China’s Zhu Lin is also another veteran who comes to this tournament following a terrific start to her campaign.
