Danielle Seib is doing an excellent job with her Highway runners and she has 16 Amarantz (Bet Now: $23.00) engaged here and for mine, she’ll do me each way. She has been excellent this time in, the latest run coming over 1300m at Wagga where she was the lone runner from the back to make up headway in an on pace dominated race. Truly run 1500m looks ideal and this stable is flying.

4 King Of Spades (Bet Now: $5.50) will jump on the bunny and prove hard to run down. That was the case a fortnight back at this track/distance and on a day where it was hard to lead throughout but credit to him, he kept finding under pressure and was only beaten off late when beaten just under a length. That was his third run from a freshen up so now he should just about be at peak fitness.

Long Shot

9 Danzadel (Bet Now: $14.00) has an awful racing pattern but I am convinced she is going well. Ran in the Trooper Knuckle Highway from two weeks ago here and she was very good from near last, finishing close up behidn the in form Keith Dryden galloper. She can get a mile back in the run but if she gets a drag into the race, I think she’s going well enough to win. Just needs things to fall into place.

All things being equal, 1 King’s Gambit (Bet Now: $1.35) should be winning even though he is a Team Snowden colt and this isn’t a Grand Final. That said, he is the best juvenile we’ve seen so far this season and his trial work this time in indicates he’s come back in super order. Bigger fish to fry, but with class/quality on his side, he should be winning.

2 Red Resistance (Bet Now: $6.00) will jump on the bunny and prove hard to run down. Trialled up well enough prior to the debut here two weeks ago where he led throughout under Prebble. What I liked is the manner in which he put them away and how he found under pressure. He fended them off and was strong to the line in winning. He has the right racing style to give himself every chance.

6 Shinzo (Bet Now: $6.00) is a beautifully bred colt for Chris Waller that is on debut. He looked very good in a trial win during the Spring and was spelled soon after. He’s had a couple of trials this time in to get ready for start one and each time he has impressed, winning the second trial when ridden out and won well. He’s bred to be a really good horse so keen to see how he goes on debut in a Stakes race.

7 Wineglass Bay (Bet Now: $4.40) is hard to beat for Chris Waller. This former UK galloper made his Australian debut here three weeks ago where he was a bit one paced when asked for the effort but once he balanced up, he found and was good to the line when a close up third to Danish Prince. He might want one more, but has good upside and is in the right to keep progressing as an import.

5 Regal Pom (Bet Now: $9.50) is ready to win I feel. Son of Press Statement for Annabel Neasham that has been strong in two runs back from a spell. Caught the eye fresh at Randwick before going to Rosehill where he was held up at a crucial stage. He couldn’t get a chance to build momentum and can easily make a case to say he goes close to winning. Clear air at the right time, he can win.

2 Cosmic Minerva (Bet Now: $3.30) has been excellent in two runs back from a spell and should appreciate a rise in trip. Dominant first up win at Gosford before going here two weeks ago and worked home strongly late when second to impressive winner and in form three year old Ringmaster. He’s racing like a rise in trip will suit and overall, this isn’t a strong race.

Fitter and up to 2000m are two big ticks for 6 Tip Of The Spear (Bet Now: 
$SP.00). Former Irish galloper that made his Australian debut over 1500m here where he was a bit one paced when asked for the effort but was good to the line and close up in defeat behind Bazooka. Might want one more, but an import with good upside that ran well fresh, they always have to be respected.

1 Worthily (Bet Now: 
$SP.00) is three weeks between runs for the Maher/Eustace camp since racing over 1800m here where he got a fair way out of his ground, eased back from the wide gate, and did make up some ground but was never really a threat behind Logan Street Lion. Avdulla back on, drawn to settle much closer in transit, he appeals here.

Long Shot

5 First Light (Bet Now: 
$SP.00) is a leading contender. Chris Waller trained gelding that has been good in two runs back from a spell, resuming with a narrow third to Above And Beyond. He then went to 1800m here where they rode with a sit and he battled away well enough in defeat behind stablemate Logan Street Lion. Like him up to 2000m, he’ll land near the speed and is tough.

11 Steel City (Bet Now: $7.50) is a filly that has talent and commands respect. She was kept quite safe as a short priced favourite when debuting here two weeks ago. She landed on speed and seemed to have her chance but couldn’t quite get past all the way winner Red Resistance. Trials prior were strong so a truly run 1100m will be fine and stable is flying with their juveniles.

5 Just Glamourous (Bet Now: $12.00) was heading towards the Magic Millions but instead has been kept on ice for the Autumn Carnival, starting here. Well bred filly that debuted at the midweeks at Warwick Farm where she did a bit wrong in the run, sitting last in a slowly run race, but I thought he closed off his race really well late in the piece behind stablemate Royal Entrance. Fitter and up to 1100m, she trialled too well prior to the debut to pen her.

8 Mumbai Muse (Bet Now: $14.00) is a well bred daughter of Zoustar for Michael Freedman that is on debut. She’s had two trials to get ready for start one, the latest coming last week at Warwick Farm where she was absolutely trucking behind the speed. Just a matter of getting clear air and once she got it under J Mac, she went through her gears like a nice horse to win well. Keen to see how she goes at start one.

$SP.00) has been good in two runs for Nathan Doyle since leaving John Sadler. Did more than enough fresh at Canterbury behind the in form Ringmaster before going to Newcastle where he spotted the leader The Denzel a decent start but loved the way he motored late, charging to the line to win narrowly but impressively. 1350m is ideal and should be strong late.

3 Kibosh (Bet Now: 
$SP.00) can be a big improver here for John Thompson. This mare resumed in the Midway two weeks ago here where she had the suck run behind the speed and was there to win but first up since 2021 off one soft trial, her condition just gave way, so forgive the run. She has the runs on the board through her form to beat this lot and I am hoping she has a stack of improvement.

1 Erno (Bet Now: 
$SP.00) is third up from a spell and should just about be at peak fitness. Did more than enough fresh at Gosford in the Malcolm Cusick behind Per Inaway. He then went here and was far from disgraced in defeat in a solid race won by an in form Ringmaster. He’s got more upside than most and with a more positive steer, he is good enough to take this out.

Pretty confident that 2 Kalino (Bet Now: $4.00) can continue his winning ways. He’s clearly being trained as a sprinter and it’s working wonders. 2/2 this time in and each run/win he has been dynamic the way he has put them away, with change up speed being quite impressive. Really, he only has to hold his form and I think he’ll be winning again and then can look at some blacktype.

6 Pizarro (Bet Now: $4.80) is the one with upside. Three weeks between runs since racing this track/distance where he was fresh off one soft trial. He was one paced when asked for the effort but picked up and was good to the line late in the piece when third to Titanium Power, who ran well in a Stakes race last Saturday, so the form reads well and better for the run, he appeals.

Long Shot

7 Noble Soldier (Bet Now: $23.00) is flying for Team Price and can certainly take this out. Forgive and forget the run two back behind I Am Me at Randwick before going to Rosehill where he stepped up to 1400m and finished off his race strongly, but was no match late for Titanium Power. Tends to run better at Rosehill than Randwick so dodging the meeting last Saturday there and running here should see him be a sneaky chance.

4 Forbidden Love… (Bet Now: $2.50) is she back? This time last year, she was one of the best mares in Australia, but post the Autumn, her form went right off the boil so this seems a prep where it’s a throw at the stumps, whether she can get back to her best or not. Went like a jet in a Warwick Farm trial win and really, if she’s anywhere near her best, she has a margin on this lot.

9 Golden Mile (Bet Now: $2.30) is a high quality colt that resumes for James Cummings and is pretty much following the path of stablemate Anamoe from last year. The key being that Anamoe is a 2000m horse that was vulnerable fresh in this race last year whereas Golden Mile looks a 1400m-1600m horse and first up at 1200m is ideal. Trial work has been strong, he has the runs on the board, good racing style and is very genuine.

Long Shot

Back to 1200m I find interesting with 1 Nicolini Vito (Bet Now: $19.00). He ran last Saturday over 1400m in the Carrington where he wasn’t suited by the sit/sprint set up but found the line really well late in the piece when fourth to Cuban Royale, who is flying at the moment. Fast run 1200m looks ideal for him and if he’s within range on the turn, I think he is going well enough to threaten.

2 Major Artie (Bet Now: $4.60) will jump on the bunny and run a bold race. Narrow fourth to subsequent Stakes winner Cuban Royale first up before racing two weeks ago at this track/distance where he attempted to lead throughout and gave a strong kick but was run down late by a very much in form Banju. Third up from a spell so he should be hard fit and with his racing style, he’ll give himself every chance.

7 Night Of Power (Bet Now: $13.00) is on the seven day back up after racing over the mile last Saturday at Randwick where he got back to near last in the run and was never a threat but was quite good to the line behind Beaufort Park. Fourth up from a break so should just about be at peak fitness and if he can settle closer in the run, he should be dangerous in what is a winnable race.

Long Shot

11 Bluff N Bluster (Bet Now: $15.00) is a last start winner and has to be respected. That win came at Randwick last Saturday where he was given a peach by Louise Day and in a close finish, was able to fend off and beat Kanazawa, who is flying, so that form, I think, reads well for a race like this, and maps ideally once again.

It’s hard to get away from 5 Dynamic Impact (Bet Now: 
$SP.00) for Bjorn Baker, who has been super in two runs back from a spell. Lovely ride from Schiller saw him win fresh under the lights at Canterbury before going to Rosehill where he got a fair way back in the run and while he was never a threat he did make up ground and was good to the line behind Kalino. Hard fit now and getting to 1350m, he’ll take beating.

6 For Valour (Bet Now: 
$SP.00) is third up from a break and should just about be at peak fitness. Just ran out of puff late fresh at Canterbury behind Ringmaster before bumping into that horse again two weeks ago here, trying to lead throughout and gave a kick but couldn’t quite finish the job, tiring to run fourth. He’s third up from a spell so he should just about be at peak fitness so keen to see how he goes.

4 Soami (Bet Now: 
$SP.00) has been up a while but is holding his form pretty well. Narrow second to subsequent Stakes winner Cuban Royale at Randwick two back before going here where he finished off with real purpose when third to the in form Ringmaster. He finds it hard to win but if he runs up to his recent efforts, he should be around the mark.
