Gun fresh horse Andermatt is favourite with Ladbrokes.com.au for the Christmas Stakes (1100m) this afternoon at Sandown.
The James Cummings trained gelding is first up, potentially using this race as a guide towards the Oakleigh Plate in the Autumn, and given he is an absolute bomb when produced fresh, the market thinks he can resume with a win. He holds the call at $2.90.
Jigsaw, unbeaten in two runs this prep, is on the second line of betting at $3.90, with Rose Quartz rock solid at $5.50. Halvorsen has had specking at odds, into $10 from $14.
