Business Arena offers a fresh perspective on all things moving the global economy. In the latest edition, host Rafał Tomański kicked off the show with the main stories: Ukraine recovery and reconstruction, and electricity for small and medium-sized businesses in Poland could be one of the cheapest in Europe.

The war damage inflicted on Ukraine has been well documented by the global media and relief organisations. The World Bank has estimated that the price of reconstruction and recovery in Ukraine to be USD 349 billion. That figure assumes that the war would end tomorrow.

In Poland over a thousand entrepreneurs have already declared their readiness to help rebuild Ukraine to the Polish Investment and Trade Agency. According to Minister of Development and Technology Waldemar Buda, they considered Business projects in Ukraine not only in the terms of profitability, but also as aid and support. “This means that we don’t want to make money at someone else’s expense, but to help in the reconstruction.”
