Marchese Computer hosts second annual Small Business Tech Day

Don’t miss the top Business event of the year for Western New York. Marchese Computer is proud to be selected as host for the Second Annual Small Business Tech Day. The Nov. 16 event will bring together a slate of industry leaders who will help participants stay ahead of the tech bad guys.

Participants will be able to spend the morning with a “shark,” the co-founder of Siri and an artificial Intelligence, or AI, expert; and get top Cyber Security information. The event includes Robert Herjavec from television’s “Shark Tank,” Adam Cheyer, the co-founder of Siri; Paul Marchese, a cyber security expert and author of “Business Owner’s Guide to Cyber Security”; and Mike Michalowicz, a best-selling author and entrepreneur.

Herjavec, known as “The Nice Shark,” is a world-famous entrepreneur, a cyber security businessman, an investor and a Shark TV personality. This enthusiastic celebrity has agreed to divulge his “Shark” secrets for vetting opportunities and risks in his own business to make strategic decisions for growth.

Herjavec has been in tech for 20 years and has built a multimillion-dollar cyber security business. He will share how new technology disrupts small businesses (in both good and bad ways) and his top tips for knowing when, how, where and why to invest – or not to invest – in business technology. He will teach participants how to “think like a Shark” when evaluating their business to help it reach new levels of success.

Cheyer will talk about the birth of Siri, from idea to inception, to Apple’s acquisition and implementation of it into the iPhone in 2010. Siri’s story is a fascinating one that not many people know about and shows how AI will affect everyone.

Marchese will present the topic, “The New Breed Of Cybercriminals And What You Can Do To Protect Your Business From Lost Profits, Irreparable Reputation Damage And Being Held Hostage.”

The virtual program will stream live from Western New York beginning at 9 a.m. Nov. 16. The event is free and recommended for small business leaders who want to discover the best technology and practices to increase their profitability and protect them from online threats.

Reserve a spot by registering at at www.mcpinc.com/techday2023. Those who register will get free access to the virtual event and be reminded when the event goes live. Those who may not be able to attend on Nov. 16 an still register and get access to a post-event recording.
