Haters, naysayer, trolls and misanthropes were quick to rain unholy shade upon the newly betrothed, citing Brown’s age and questioning Giovio’s intentions.

It is worth noting that by nineteen, Joan of Arc was riding into battle, Alexander the Great was conquering countries and Mary Shelly had written “Frankenstein,” so critics, cynics and killjoys can kindly f–k right off and let this woman live and love as she sees fit.

It’s curious that the collective seems more outraged about an adult woman making a choice for herself than a young girl being sexualized by the media but I digress.
