25/02/23 – Saturday Horse Racing Tips for Ascot

We have expert betting tips for the card this Saturday at Ascot that features nine quality betting races.

The 1000 Guineas headlines the card and we have our best horse racing tips available.

Ascot horse racing tips

Race 1. (15:24) Amelia Park Plate (1100m)

#5 – Bonny Rock – Bet @ betr

Bonny Rock has had the benefit of having a race day start and we’re putting her on top.

The two-year-old filly by Awesome Rock was only 1.8 lengths behind the winner as a $21 chance and she will be at much shorter odds here.

She could be worth following this preparation.

Race 2. (16:04) Tabtouch Westspeed Platinum (1600m)

#2 – Awesome Chatter – Bet @ betr

Awesome Chatter comes off a win at Geraldton and that could be enough to win this race.

The Adam Durrant-trained son of Awesome Rock owns two placings on the track and he has yet to miss a win or placing over the distance.

Barrier four is ideal and he has upside.

Race 3. (16:44) Glenroy Chaff BM72 (1200m)

#5 – Burnya to Survive – Bet @ betr

Burnya to Survive comes off consecutive wins at Ascot and he’s unbeaten in four starts at Ascot.

The five-year-old son of Bradbury’s Luck won by a length last time out and getting the inside draw is ideal.

We’re not expecting big odds on race day.

Race 4. (17:24) PKF Perth 1MW (1400m)

#4 – Romancing the Rock – Bet @ betr

Romancing the Rock owns two wins and three placings from eight starts, including three placings from as many starts on the track.

The four-year-old wasn’t far away from the mark at Ascot last start and he’s another runner that gets the inside draw.

Look for a betting push on race day.

Race 5. (18:05) Pearce Racing Parade BM66 (2200m)

#1 – Casino Seventeen – Bet @ betr

Casino Seventeen has a big weight to carry following consecutive wins but he’s the best horse in the race.

The five-year-old son of Casino Prince owns two wins and four placings at the track, so he loves racing here.

Getting 2kg off his back helps and he should go close.

Race 6. (18:42) Lex Piper Stakes (1600m)

#6 – Gage Roads – Bet @ betr

Gage Roads didn’t fire at Ascot last time out but his form prior was too good to ignore.

The Williams-trained owns two wins and two placings from six starts, including a win at Belmont three starts back.

Barrier two and a light weight is ideal.

Race 7. (19:17) Schweppes 10000 Guineas (1800m)

#3 – Megami – Bet @ betr

Megami comes off back-to-back wins at Belmont and that form could show up at Ascot.

The three-year-old filly is good enough to handle this level of opposition and punters should get value odds on race day.

Carrying 54kg could tip the scales in her favour.

Race 8. (19:55) Enermech Detonator Stakes (1800m)

#1 – Marocchino – Bet @ betr

Marocchino is already a three-time winner this preparation and he’s good enough to win again.

The six-year-old comes off a win at Ascot when beating Steinem, which is close to being top-level form.

He maps nicely for this race and we’re keen to have him in selections.

Race 9. (20:34) Own the Dream BM66 (1000m)

#2 – Capital Flight – Bet @ betr

Capital Flight owns five wins from 10 starts, including all five wins over the distance.

The four-year-old son of City Place comes off a third placing at Ascot and he wasn’t far behind some nice types.

3kg comes off his back and punters could get value odds on race day.
