The 15th of October is Global Handwashing Day, a global advocacy day dedicated to raising awareness and understanding about the necessity of soap-free handwashing as an effective and inexpensive strategy to prevent disease and save lives.
Bath & Body Works associate volunteers collaborated with the Human Service Chamber of Franklin County to distribute over 15,000 hand soaps to area charitable groups to honor this significant day. The funds are intended to increase access to adequate handwashing and alleviate hygiene poverty in central Ohio.
