CNH Industrial Is Sparking Interest in Agriculture Careers

The Cnh Industrial Foundation, the company’s charitable arm in the United States, has contributed significantly to the development of a new tool for increasing student knowledge of agricultural employment options.

It’s known as AGNITOR. It was created for the Illinois Agri-Food Alliance (ILAFA), a collaborative network organization dedicated to establishing an integrated, creative, and revolutionary agri-food system in the state of Illinois.

AGNITOR digitally connects real-world agriculture experts to classrooms for virtual discussions on the variety of job prospects in food, agriculture, and natural resources (AFNR). The application also provides students with information to assist them independently investigate such prospects and career pathways.

The purpose is to contribute to the development of a more diverse talent pipeline for the industry’s future.

“At CNH Industrial, we believe that a diverse and inclusive workforce is essential for driving innovation and supporting sustainable growth in the AFNR sector,” Michelle Javaherian, Community Impact Manager, Global Sustainability, said. “Through AGNITOR, we are excited to share our expertise and insights with the next generation of leaders and demonstrate that all paths can lead to a high-quality, high-valued career.”

“The launch of AGNITOR is a significant milestone for the Illinois Agri-Food Alliance and its partners,” said Tyler Strom, the Alliance’s Managing Director. “Because the agri-food industry is constantly changing, it is critical that we cultivate a diverse and talented workforce to meet the changing industry’s needs.” This

Employees from CNH Industrial have volunteered to help with the program. Onboard Vehicle Security Architect George Alvarez recently paid a virtual visit to Epic Academy in Chicago to discuss his position at CNH Industrial. There were 18 students in attendance for the discussion, and George, according to Shanell Rainey of the ILAFA, was an inspiration.

“More than half of the class stated that they were interested in learning more about how to become a security architect!”
