QNET feeds, clothes less privileged children at Mama Laadi

As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, Qnet, a top international direct selling e-commerce company, has provided necessities to Mama Laadi Orphanage and Timataaba Orphanage, two of the most effective orphanages in Ghana’s Upper East Region.

“QNET has consistently made a positive difference in the lives of residents in the places where it conducts business. We always make sure, in our own personal manner, to spread some joy and happiness to those who most need it, particularly at festive times like Ramadan, Christmas, New Year’s celebrations, and others. The goal of this programme is to improve the lives of many people, and it is consistent with the company’s motto, Raise Yourself to Help Mankind (RYTHM), according to Mr. Biram FALL, QNET’s regional general manager for sub-Saharan Africa.

Bags of rice, gallons of oil, boxes of different drinks, hygiene products, school bags, and clothing were among the donations made to the two orphanages.

An independent representative of QNET, Mr. Eric Damkoa Konfino, said that by presenting the products to the orphans, he hoped to inspire them to continue performing more good deeds for the community and to assist the kids concentrate on a better future.

Mr. Isaiah Dowonba, the proprietor of the Upper East’s Tongo area’s Timataaba Orphanage, thanked QNET for the gift. “Children from our orphanage are some of the smartest in schools around here,” he proudly recalled. They are thriving in both the primary and secondary schools where we have them. Locals claim that we have a reputation for raising smart kids. This is a result of our substantial investments in their welfare and education. We appreciate QNET’s kindness and ask that God bless the business.

In a similar vein, Mr. Gabriel Ayine, the official who accepted the donation on behalf of the Mama Laadi Orphanage, stated: “Mama Laadi is renowned for quality and altruism. The orphanage’s founder, Mama Laadi, is renowned for her altruism. She established the orphanage with her wages and salaries. Her joy and purpose come from the orphanage. She enjoys seeing kids flourish in life and receive good care. Some of the children in the orphanage lost their mothers at birth, while others were shunned by their towns and families owing to their religious convictions, and still others are orphans. We are appreciative of QNET’s fast assistance and hope it will continue. We implore everybody else.

QNET is dedicated to improving people’s lives and offering help on a global scale. Through its Corporate Social Responsibility division, the RYTHM Foundation, QNET has made significant investments in a number of social responsibility initiatives and projects in Ghana, including the ANOPA project. An NGO called ANOPA Project, situated in Cape Coast, Ghana’s Central Region, offers sports-based interventions that help vulnerable communities in Sub-Saharan Africa be more included and integrated. Through its social impact arm, the RYTHM Foundation, QNET, a global e-commerce-based direct selling company, has been supporting one of the organization’s flagship projects for the past three years: “Education Through Sports for Deaf and Blind Children.” The project aims to create a platform for children with disabilities to learn crucial life skills and more through sports education.

The National Chief Imam’s educational fund for students has benefited greatly from major contributions and donations made by QNET in the past. Through the offices of the respective Chief Imams, the corporation has also supplied a variety of food goods and stationery to the Muslim populations in Accra, Tamale, and Kumasi. During the epidemic, QNET provided the Ghana Police Hospital and the Ghana Immigration with necessary medical supplies and personal protective equipment.
