Lowertown will release their new EP ‘Skin of My Teeth’ on October 27th.

It follows last year’s album ‘I Love To Lie’, and comes amid their East Coast Headline tour.

The first single ‘Bline’ is out today, with an accompanying video showing bandmates Olivia Osby and Avsha Weinberg donning creepy rubber masks. The song takes inspiration from Olivia’s memories of moving to New York and London at 18 and 20 years old, her sombre vocals backed by an uneasy bassline.

Three albums into their career, the four-track EP is Lowertown’s first independent project since their 2019 debut. Olivia reflects on the move…

“Things are gonna be just a little bit different with how we approach music—this is the first time in our lives where we feel a little bit settled-in and self-assured. As musicians, and just in life generally. We feel like we don’t have to prove ourselves as much.”

The band play Baby’s All Right in New York tonight, and head to Europe next month to support Wednesday on tour.
