Well that’s it for this week. Bradford Lee Folk and the Bluegrass Playboys produced an album of the very finest cosmic-bluegrass. Sadly they made it a long time ago – and there’s no sign of there ever being a follow-up to 2014’s ‘Somewhere Far Away‘.  A pity.  But on ‘The Wood Swan‘ they do proffer some timeless advice on time management: “We always try to take things as they come / Try not to do too many things at once / When you try to do too many things they have a way of coming undone.”  Wow, that’s so true.  And with a three-day weekend a-coming, it’s also timely timeless advice on time management – have a good time, but maybe don’t overdo it.

Unless you want to.

Who are we, your mother?

Sure, I could climb high in a tree, or go to Skye on my holiday. I could be happy. All I really want is the excitement of first hearing The Byrds, the amazement of decades of Dylan’s music, or the thrill of seeing a band like The Long Ryders live. That’s not much to ask, is it?
