Jaz Vernon returns with new single ‘Blue Couple’.

The R&B aesthete has a defiantly future-fixated streak, melding together gospel aspects in his vocals with a penchant for groundbreaking production. Worth placing alongside the likes of Brent Faiyaz and Bryson Tiller, he broke out in 2019 after valuing Hot 97’s DJ Saige’s ‘Hit My Line’.

Since then, he’s doubled down, working with alacrity to expand his R&B vision. New single ‘Blue Coupe’ is out now, matching production from regular collaborator Gamal to an evocative vocal.

A super return, it’s a Rush of adrenaline, with Jaz Vernon finessing his songwriting, and applying renewed intensity to his work. He comments…

“I recorded this song in my room right before traveling to LA for the first time. My in-house producer Gamal sent me the beat and I immediately started recording. It was like a long rush of adrenalin. We don’t have time to waste. Put the pride and ego aside.”
