Metronomy and Nile Rogers announced for the free programme of Montreux Jazz Festival 2023

Featuring concerts, DJ sets, screenings, jam sessions, pool parties and more, the line-up includes 11 free stages featuring a strong emphasis on emerging artists from around the world.

Taking over the three floors of the Petit Palais, the Lake House returns. The Memphis – a stage dedicated to new jazz music – will host workshops from Jon Batiste, Marcus Miller and Nile Rodgers. Drummer Yussef Dayes, will be doing a workshop and jam session, whilst there will be performances from saxophonist Laura Misch, guitarist Mansur Brown, trumpeter Takuya Kuroda and many more.

The Festival’s night spot, La Coupole will be hosting DJs including Moodymann, a key figure on the Detroit house scene who will be playing two sets, one of which is a tribute to Prince.

Created in 2017, Lisztomania will host three artists will perform as part of MJF Spotlight Nights: ENNY, Aron, and Saint Levant, whilst Metronomy and Berlin collective Keinemusik, will perform at the Audemars Piguet Parallel experience.
