RHOSLC's Pop-Off in Palm Springs Leads to Pitbull Behavior as the Women Endure More Trix - and Fights

Tensions were still running high on the latest installment of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City as the tirade-filled trip to Palm Springs continued.

Most notably, an unexpected change in the trip’s itinerary ruffled feathers among the group — particularly Lisa Barlow, who got upset over not being able to use her glam squad — while Meredith Marks and Angie Katsanevas’s argument from the night before spilled over, sparking even more fights among the women.

Speaking of that argument between Meredith, 51, and Angie, 49, the rest of the women had some things to say about it upon returning to the Trixie Motel after dinner. According to Lisa, 48, this season’s newcomer “went in super hot,” while fellow new Housewife Monica Garcia thought that Angie’s behavior was “uncalled for,” “tacky” and “embarrassing.”

Lisa’s comments, however, prompted Whitney Rose, 36, to open up about her ongoing frustration with Meredith, telling Lisa that she “manipulates the situation by saying, ‘I can’t talk about this right now. Do you know what I’m going through?’”

Lisa, who said she’s still trying to move forward with Meredith, acknowledged that she isn’t “oblivious to the fact that everything gets weaponized.”

But a new day meant a new activity — which involved Meredith instructing the ladies to wear their matching “No Trix, All Trust” T-shirts before taking them to a nearby park to complete trust-building exercises.

Of course, things got off to a bumpy start with Angie throwing a little shade at this situation by making her own shirt that read, “All Trix, No Trust.”

Angie quipped, “Meredith wants to be petty? I can be petty, too.”

Meanwhile, Mary Cosby, 50, opted to sit out on the latest group activity, explaining in her confessional, “I know exactly who to trust, and I know exactly who not to trust out of this entire group. I don’t need somebody to tell me how to build a stronger bond with people. I already have my relationships built with my higher help, not these women.”

Broken up in pairs of two, the remaining women played a “landmine” game, in which one person was blindfolded while the other has to verbally guide them through various obstacles. Among the duos were Heather Gay, 49, with Angie; Whitney with Meredith, and Lisa with Monica.

Despite not getting along with Angie, Heather admitted to “actually having a great time with her” during activity, while Meredith and Whitney surprisingly came out on top and were the first pair to complete the obstacle course.

During the ride home, Meredith told Mary she wished she participated in the group activity when Lisa interrupted the conversation. At that moment, Mary snarked at Lisa, “Do you have a mute button?” Unfazed, Lisa snapped back, “No, I don’t. I’m on play all the time.” The moment ended with Mary, who has continued to sit out many of the group activities this season, implying that she didn’t want to grow with this particular group of women.

Back at the Trixie Motel, Whitney revealed that there would be a change in plans and that all the women were going to participate in a drag makeup competition. The judge would be none other than her friend and drag queen Trixie Mattel.

This threw the group into a tailspin. Feeling caught off guard, Meredith remarked how the two just did a trust exercise about communication (which was something Whitney is also going to therapy for once a week).

“Seriously, Whitney? Maybe I had something else planned today. It’s not your trip,” Meredith said in a confessional interview. For her part, Whitney admitted in her own confessional that she’d sprung this new plan on the women because she was “f — -ing bored” and wanted to take advantage of the “once-in-a-lifetime opportunity” to do drag with Trixie.

Lisa had the biggest meltdown of all. She was not only upset because she had flown her glam squad into town for the trip, she also didn’t want to have to do her own makeup on camera. “The one thing I love control over is the way I look,” she told the women.

Lisa added later in a confessional that the situation was “f — -ing torture” before claiming to spend around $60,000 on glam — including a makeup artist on retainer.

Lisa then wasted no time getting the show’s producers involved and goes off about not being allowed to use her own glam. Reduced to tears, she said wasn’t going out that night done up in “s — — f — -ing glam.”

After overhearing Lisa’s complaining, Monica compared the Vida tequila owner to the spoiled Charlie and the Chocolate Factory character Veruca Salt, adding that she was “privileged AF.”

In the end, only Angie, Heather, Monica — who won their mini competition — and Whitney went out dressed in drag. Meredith, Lisa and Mary opted out, which prompted animosity among the group, with Heather slamming Meredith for “being a drag.”

After dinner, Angie, Monica and Whitney started gossiping about “wet noodles” Lisa, Mary and Meredith, and Monica specifically accused Lisa of being “insecure” for not joining in on the drag fun.

Although Lisa tried to bring up their conversation, which she overheard back at the restaurant, all it did was spark a major outburst from Monica, who lashed out at Lisa again for being “tone deaf” about losing her $60,000 diamond ring.

During their back-and-forth, Lisa insisted she has worked her “ass off” and won’t “apologize for one bit of me.” Monica responded by calling Lisa “shallow” and then added that she was “a piece of s — -.”

Not long after that, Angie got dragged in when Lisa called out Monica for being hypocritical during the previous night’s argument between Angie and Meredith. This led to some name-calling by Monica, which Whitney viewed as “nasty.”

The fight then continued at the bar, where the conversation between Lisa and Monica became about materialism.

But the arguing wasn’t isolated to those two — Whitney also went after Meredith for not making an effort. Meredith responded by chiding Whitney for overstepping.

Whitney shot back that Meredith was holding her “emotionally hostage” before Meredith dropped the hammer, calling Whitney a “monster” and “disgusting.”

Though Meredith tried to walk away, Whitney followed her and resurfaced the argument with Angie. After being likened to a “pitbull,” Angie then called Meredith “a trampoline with eyes.”

The episode ended with the fight spilling over into the group as Monica and Angie started going at it, with the former yelling, “Don’t put your fingers in my face like Jen Shah.”

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.
