Casemiro, the Manchester United midfielder, has encountered an ankle injury while representing his national team. In Brazil’s recent 1-1 draw with Venezuela, Casemiro had to exit the game with only 11 minutes remaining.

The Selecao is scheduled to play against Uruguay on Tuesday night, but it is unlikely that the 31-year-old will participate. Following the Venezuela match, Brazil’s head coach, Fernando Diniz, stated, “Casemiro requested to be substituted due to an ankle injury.”

Casemiro has been a fixture in Manchester United’s starting lineup for all eight of the team’s Premier League matches this season.
