Iyabo Ojo, a Nollywood actress, has once more made a subliminal statement in response to her detractors.
The Queen Mother, as she is often referred to on Instagram, has come under fire on a number of occasions, particularly for her role in the death of the late Mohbad.
Iyabo wrote in a message to her detractors and trolls that she can’t be bothered and worried about them because even God isn’t loved completely.
For her, she will carry on as she has been, finding her strength in the Lord and in those who genuinely care about her.
“No one, not even God, is loved on a 100%
.
So why worry about the haters? Abegi, do you, draw strength from the Lord & those who truly love you & stay winning…. shikena”.
Just a few days back, Iyabo Ojo had addressed the backlash she had received for filming the preparations for Mohbad’s burial.
Iyabo noted how she isn’t perfect, but she would rather die a fearless, bold, and courageous woman who speaks & fights for justice.
The single mother of two boldly declared that she would continue to speak her truth no matter the narrative they draw about her and the hate she receives.
She added that she wants a better Nigeria and a safe environment for her children and that duty starts from her and the public.
Iyabo earned praises this week after a video of Funke Akindele recounting how she had Sikiratu Sindodo fought for her in the Yoruba industry surfaced online.
In the interview, Funke Akindele opened up on how she was being stereotyped because of her physical appearance which many considered ‘ugly’, and was only cast for Waka pass roles.
