Casemiro may have felt a little lonely in the middle of the Old Trafford pitch on Monday night. With Bruno Fernandes and Mason Mount bombing forwards, the Brazilian was often left exposed.
“The danger of that was plain to see, with Wolves firing off 23 shots during the game. With some better finishing, the result could have been very different.
“It’s interesting then that the same Man Utd side comes to play a Tottenham team today who, under new boss Ange Postecoglou will look to flood the midfield.
“Yves Bissouma and Pape Sarr will be there. James Maddison will looking for spaces around Casemiro. And Destiny Udogie and Pedro Porro will be instructed to tuck inside form full-back.
“Man Utd boss Erik ten Hag will surely be alert to the scenario but Spurs have the possibility of outnumbering their visitors in that part of the park if Mount and Fernandes are as adventurous again.
