On 7th March 2022, MG Motor India launched their facelift version of MG ZS Electric Vehicle with not only an updated design but also adding many more new features. 

The new MG ZS Electric Vehicle will be available in two variants – Excite and Exclusive, in which the Exclusive variant will be readily available now whereas the Excite variant is expected to be in the market by July 2022. 

MG ZS Electric Vehicle Exclusive variant is the top model and is priced at Rs. 25,88,000/-  ex-showroom and the Excite variant is priced at Rs 21,99,800/- ex-showroom and both come with an automatic transmission. 

MG ZS Electric Vehicle Exclusive variant is offered in four colours which are black, silver, red and white. 

On the specification side MG ZS Electric Vehicle comes with a 50.3 kWh Lithium-ion battery which is placed under the floor pan. 

MG ZS Electric Vehicle battery can be charged 80% in 60 minutes with fast charging. With a MG installed AC fast charger at home the vehicle can be fully charged in 9 hours. 

MG ZS Electric Vehicle comes with a portable charging cable which can be plugged into a 15A socket and can be fully charged in 19 hours.

The company also supports its customers with 24X7 roadside assistance for mobile charging in case of emergency situations.

The battery powers a permanent magnet synchronous motor placed in the front axle and develops a 174 bhp.

The mentioned range for the new MG ZS Electric Vehicle is 461 kms which is an improvement from its predecessor which was at 419 kms. 

MG ZS Electric Vehicle is quick as it can cover 0-100 kmph  in 8.5 seconds.

MG ZS Electric Vehicle comes with a new 25.7 cm (10.1 inch) HD touchscreen infotainment system. Previously the company was offering a 8 inch touchscreen infotainment system.

MG ZS Electric Vehicle is equipped with both Android Auto and Apple car play connectivity. 

MG ZS Electric Vehicle comes with sunroof, electrically powered driver’s seat and on the safety side MG ZS comes with six airbags, hill start or descent, electronic stability controls and rear drive assist. 

MG ZS Electric Vehicle has notable changes in the front grille and charging socket point is now moved to the left side of the MG logo. The front bumper is redesigned with wider and sharper air dam. 

MG ZS Electric Vehicle comes with 17 inch alloy wheels and receives full LED hawk eye headlamps which is retained from the outgoing model and redesigned LED tail lights and rear bumpers. 

MG ZS Electric Vehicle has also retained the LED daytime running lights, roof rails, rear spoiler, outside rear view mirrors with indicators. 

MG ZS Electric Vehicle receives a refreshed interior which is similar to the MG Astor model. It is updated with a new digital instrument cluster with 17.78 embedded LCD screen. 

 MG ZS Electric Vehicle is equipped with driver armrest with storage function, cup holders, rear center armrest, headrest and AC vents. 

MG provides its customers with MG e-shield, a hassle free ownership experience. The Electric vehicle comes with 5 years unlimited kilometers, roadside assistance and Labour free services warranty.

The battery comes with 8 years or one hundred fifty thousand kilometers warranty.
