How Pravida Menon Used Her Eloquence To Achieve Her Dreams

Toronto: Since childhood, Pravida Menon has been an ardent music lover. This adroit designer was born in the beautiful city of Palakkad and later settled down in Kochi. Pravida completed her basic education in Tamil Nadu and pursued a dual MBA in finance and HR.

Having a trained dancer as a mother it was no surprise when Pravida started showing interest in dancing. Seeing her enthusiasm for dancing Pravida’s mother started teaching her how to dance when she was 4 years old. Later on, she was taken to various gurus to learn Bharatnatyam, Mohiniyattam and Kuchipudi. This led her to participate in various dance competitions from a young age. Which led her to compete in the beauty pageant show winning her a sub-title in the pageant which was organised by the Kairali channel in association with Jos Allukas & AMMA.

This pagent was a changing moment in her life. After the pageant, she was offered various modelling gigs and ad shoots. While walking for these fashion shows she got groomed by the well-known fashion choreographer Dalu Krishnadas and well-known photographer Reji Bhaskar.

Pravida was not only an elegant and beautiful classical dancer but she also is an eloquent speaker. This skill was displayed when she introduced a new business segment for the renowned Asianet News. Her eloquence was seen more when she worked as RJ in Aaha Radio. While working for Yeeaaah entertainment she showed her prowess while hosting vlogs.

Right after finishing her MBA Pravida moved to Canada on an independent permanent residency in the skilled category. Initially, it was tough moving to a whole new country and integrating yourself into a new culture. Being in a new place was lonely as she didn’t have any friends or acquaintances at first but this travel enthusiast persevered. She first started to work in a call centre and later on got a job in a bank.

Even in a foreign world she always had her family who supported her and they became her pillar of strength. This support was something that helped her persevere and led her to become a person who is working hard to achieve her Dream.

“Clay is a medium you get to mould and build something from scratch to your own taste” – this ideology motivated her in founding her own company ” Colosplaganza”. It is a company that creates handmade polymer clay pieces of jewellery and home decor. It was a dream come true for an aesthete like Pravida. And to help others also achieve their dreams she along with her friends formed together the Canadian Media Club where she became one of its Board of Directors.

This book lover works as a financial analyst in a well-established Hospital in Canada. With her love for photography and documentaries, she started to dabble in the world of cinema by working as an art director and creating short films. But this is not all, Pravida is a yoga lover who also pursuing doctorate in Psychology at present.

With a goal of enjoying every aspect of her life, Pravida loves to go biking and trekking. As an esthete, Pravida has an incomparable love for travelling and discovering new places. This avid lover of science fiction has been trying to achieve all her dreams as well as helping others to achieve their dreams.

Even though she is living in Canada she has never forgotten her roots. With her family as her support, there is no stopping her.
