Nobody loves Commuting because you have to sit or drive yourself to reach the place where you wanted to be. Many of the workers spend a lot of hours in a year sitting, standing, waiting, and walking on their way to work. Many people spend their commute time scrolling social media or playing games on their mobiles. You waste a lot of time during the commute. Though the commute is boring you can use this time to be more productive. An average American spends more than 100 hours commuting in a year. This is no less time and you can use this time more productively so that you do not feel that you wasted your time with boredom. Following are some tips to help you maximize your commute productivity time.

1. Create your to-do list

If you are taking a public vehicle to your office then you can use that time by making a list of things that are important to complete at your work. If you are stuck in traffic then you can note down two to three important tasks that you need to work on after reaching the office. Creating a to-do list will help you to focus on your work by saving you a lot of time and energy. This is one of the ways through which you can make your commuting time more productive.

It can be tough to be productive during your commute, but with a little organization and some planning, it’s possible to get a lot done. Here are a few tips:

  • Start by creating a to-do list for your business or for yourself this week. By staying organized, you’ll prevent yourself from forgetting anything important.

6. Talk to new people

You can try speaking to someone new when you are traveling on public transport. Your life might be changed by someone you meet on the journey. Talking to new people will increase your network. It will also increase your opportunities. You may meet people with similar interests, work in the same industry, or have the same colleagues. You will break the boredom of commuting through a conversation with new people.
