Born on 7 February 1987 in Mehsana, Gujarat, Durjoy Datta is an Indian author and novelist and screenwriter. Though his birthplace is Mehsana, he was brought up in Delhi. Durjoy completed graduation in mechanical engineering from Delhi Technological University.

After that, he completed post-graduation from the Management Development Institute, Gurgaon and Frankfurt School of Finance & Management, Germany. 

He was working as a marketing analyst when he decided to quit his job and become a full-time writer.

Written in collaboration with Maanvi Ahuja, Of Course I Love You was Durjoy’s debut novel. It was released in 2008 when he was still in college.

His novels are packed with intense emotions. His writing style is simple, and he often tells stories about the bittersweet journey of heartbreak and romance.
