“Emily: Voice of Hope” is story of Emily, a young girl living in the Australian outback with her mother and two siblings.
After her mother was taken away, Emily and her siblings were forced to work on a farm, enduring harsh conditions and no freedom. Despite this, Emily never gave up on her dream of becoming a singer. She used her voice to cope with the struggles of her life and found solace in her music.
When she entered a local talent competition and won, a music producer offered to take her to the national stage. Emily prepared tirelessly and delivered a powerful performance that launched her into stardom.
However, she never forgot her roots and used her platform to raise awareness about child labor and advocate for their rights.
Emily’s story is a testament to the power of perseverance, reminding us that there is always hope for a better tomorrow.

About the Guest ‘ India Dupre ‘:
India Dupre is a British born, Australia raised singer-songwriter and her new album, Believe, is a collection of songs about positivity, connection, and inspiration. Collaborating with her sister Saffron in Sydney, the songs have resonated with all ages and languages and have had over 6 M+ views on TikTok.

Having grown up traveling across Australia, living by the beach and listening to music through her mother’s cassette player, the influences of Joni Mitchell, Olivia Newton John and John Denver reverberate throughout India’s music as well as her perceptive storytelling.
The album is filled with songs to lift the spirit (Don’t Give Up, I’ve Always Believed in You) as well as songs India grew up singing in the bath with her mother and sister. Her mother, Margaret Dupre, is featured singing on Where Have All the Flowers Gone?
The Mermaid and the Lighthouse Keeper, an album where India partnered with British popstar Nick Heyward (Haircut 100), was also recently released. Its songs feature lush melodies and emotionally evocative duets. This gentle album is timeless, but it also conjures memories of a 1960s Europe with Serge Gainsbourg, Jane Birkin and The Beatles.
India’s husband and collaborator, Leander, creates a visual story element to compliment her music.
India’s passions also include photography, travelling, and loving up on her cat, Snobby

· India’s grandmother was an opera singer and India also sings operatic arias and did so at her gig recently at The Hotel Café.
· India wrote the song Where the Crawdads Sing after reading the book and not wanting it to end.
· India and her sister Saffron write songs together over the oceans. Saffron sending lyrics and India putting them to music writing on the piano and Ukulele.
· India finds she is most creative in the mornings and when travelling.
· Don’t Give Up has been helpful to mothers, friends and children of those fighting in Ukraine.
