While we keep our expectations in check when it comes to photography hardware with average foldable smartphones, that’s not the case with the OPPO Find N3 Flip. We’re talking about a camera beast here.

Much like its predecessors, the Find N3 Flip ships with a groundbreaking industry-first triple rear camera setup with a gorgeous Hasselblad-branded circular arrangement on its rear surface. The setup is home to a 50MP OIS-equipped main camera, a 48MP ultra-wide camera, and a 32MP telephoto portrait camera that offers 2x optical zoom. In the time we’ve spent with the device so far, all three of these cameras have been found to produce awe-inspiring results that need to be seen to be believed. Before we share these pictures with you, let us tell you more about the robust hardware it has on offer.

The 50MP primary camera is a large 1/1.56-inch Sony IMX890 sensor paired with an f/1.8 aperture lens. The large sensor size and the presence of OIS ensure that the phone performs brilliantly in low-light scenarios.

The same 32MP camera is also present on the front of this OPPO smartphone for providing flawless selfies. But there’s another way to take selfies – the FlexForm Mode, which completely transforms the smartphone photography experience. It allows you to rest the device on a surface and capture individual and group selfies with any of the three rear cameras even as the cover screen acts as a viewfinder. One more thing about the Find N3 Flip’s cameras that’s worth highlighting is its adoption of the OPPO Computational Photography suite which is adept at creating a natural image with nuanced highlights and shadows. It does this by capturing the original brightness information at the moment the photo is taken and quickly fine-tunes the HDR photo on a pixel-by-pixel basis. And these images are displayed most gorgeously on the device’s advanced ProXDR display, which boasts a peak brightness of 1600 nits. In our usage, we found the pictures and videos taken from the Find N3 Flip to be highly detailed and with good amount of dynamic range. There’s even the XPAN mode for creating a panoramic image with a retro look, and the Master Style mode for adding your own personal touch to the image. Vigorous everyday performance

At the heart of the OPPO Find N3 Flip is the 4nm Mediatek Dimensity 9200 chipset that’s primed to deliver superior performance in every aspect. Whether you’re looking to play the most high-end of games or edit 4K footage on-device, this processor guarantees blazing-fast speeds for the heaviest of tasks. Moreover, it’s accompanied by 12GB of RAM for an impeccable multitasking experience. In our usage, we didn’t even face minor hiccups when using the device, let alone major issues.

As far as battery life is concerned, the large 4,300mAh power unit on the phone comfortably lasted for well over a day on a single charge for us. This is especially commendable as with some other foldable phones, battery life is one of the compromises that we usually have to make. If you are wondering how OPPO achieved this, Intelligent battery-saving algorithms are indeed part of the device’s repertoire but there are other aspects that contribute to saving battery as well. Take for instance its 6.8-inch AMOLED display, which comes with the LTPO technology. This means it can hover anywhere between 1Hz to 120Hz, thus saving precious battery life when high refresh rates are not needed. Charging the Find N3 Flip’s battery is going to be a superfast experience, as it comes with support for 44W SUPERVOOC_TM fast charging. This allows the phone to gain 100 percent of its juice in just 56 minutes.
