Shadab Khan has become the latest cricketing star to join the list of being married as if the marriage season hit the Pakistani cricketers before the Pakistan Super League (PSL).

On Monday, Shadab first used Instagram and then Twitter to announce that his nikkah ceremony had been held.

He described it as a big day that marks the beginning of a new chapter in his life. “Please respect my choices and those my wife’s and our families. Prayers and love for all,” the all-rounder said, asking for privacy.

And who is her life partner? Saqlain Mushtaq’s daughter, as Shadab said he was becoming part of my mentor’s family. “When I started playing cricket, I wanted to keep my family life separate, my family has also opted to stay out of public light. My wife has asked for the same, she wants her life to remain private.”

He once again requested his followers to respect his and his wife’s choices as well as their families’. Khan joked that if in case anyone wants to send salami, then he can send them the account number.

After Haris Rauf, Shan Masood and now Shadab Khan, Shaheen Afridi is set to tie the knot on Feb 3 with Shahid Afridi’s second daughter Ansha.
