The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) Tuesday notified prices of re-gasified liquefied natural gas (RLNG) for both the Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) and Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) for October.

The Rlng Prices for SNGPL consumers have been raised by $0.4966 per mmBtu (3.87 percent), while for SSGC consumers, prices have increased by $0.5081 per mmBtu (3.80 percent) compared to September.

According to a statement released by OGRA, for SNGPL consumers, the RLNG weighted average sale provisional price has been set at $13.3332 per mmBtu, while SSGC consumers will pay $13.8716 per mmBtu for RLNG in October. In September, OGRA determined RLNG prices at $12.8366 per mmBtu for SNGPL consumers and $13.3636 per mmBtu for SSGC consumers.

In a short statement, OGRA said that the increase in RLNG prices is due to increased RLNG Brent prices in the international market.

The country will import 9 cargoes during October 2023, of which Pakistan State Oil (PSO) will import 8 cargoes while Pakistan LNG Limited (PLL) will import one.
