Disney movies will often try to convince you that true Love can be right around the corner and that it conquers all obstacles. Sadly this isn't true most of the time in real life. But every rule has its exceptions, and this one is no different. Some couples have all the cards stacked against them and still somehow manage to make it work and give each other their love unconditionally.

Let's take a look at some of those couples below.

PAULO GABRIEL DA SILVA BARROS AND KATYUCIA LIE HOSHINO

This couple didn't just find each other and start a life together; they also instantly became the Guinness World Record holders of the combined shortest couple. Between the two, they have a total length of 181,41 cm, which is about the average height of a grown man. They describe themselves as short but with huge hearts, and who are we to say that isn't so? Greatness isn't measured in inches, and these two people are great.

ANTON KRAFT AND CHINA BELL

Anton Kraft is the only bodybuilder in the world capable of lifting four times his weight. He's only 132 cm (4 ft) tall and got married to transwoman China Bell, who is 190,5 cm (6 ft) tall. While it looks like there's nothing that these two have in common, their struggle for love and understanding for each other has made their time together rock solid. Anton considers his marriage the most significant achievement of his life, saying a lot if you're literally the only human who can do something exceptional. 

ELISANE SILVA AND FRANCINALDO DA SILVA CARVALHO

Eliane is the tallest woman in Brazil, currently at six feet and eight inches. As with many people that grow to this large a size, the cause with Elisane was a tumour that caused overproduction of her growth hormone. She married Francinaldo, who is only five feet and four inches tall. He doesn't care about her height and treats her like an average
human. They're happy as they can be and are raising a child together.

NICK VUJICIC AND KANAE MIYAHARA

Nick was born without limbs, making life a lot harder than any of us imagine. There's no medical explanation for his condition, which has caused him to struggle mentally and physically. Kanae saw Nick's a great human being and fell in love with him at first sight. They now have four children and are the happiest couple in the world. This just goes to show that no matter the disadvantage you think you might have in life, there's always going to be someone that accepts you for who you are and loves you. 

GABRIELA AND VICTOR PERALTA

Another Guinness World Record holder, this couple is officially the most "modified" couple in the world. By modified, of course, we mean pierced and inked up. They find themselves perfect for each other and share 80 body modifications – not counting their tattoos, which cover most of their bodies!

SEAN STEPHENSON AND MINDI KNISS

This couple of motivational speakers met through a mutual friend and have been married for a decade. Sean was born with a bone disease and had broken about 200 bones in his body by the time he was an adult, but Mindie couldn't be happier with her husband. Online trolls spend a disgusting amount of time trying to harass this lovely couple, but they've never let it come between them. If we learn anything from this couple, it should be to just ignore online trolls and carry on living your life the way you want to.
