Academy of Art University is seeking a full-time fully remote Manager, Pre-Admissions position.

  • Execute strategic enrollment plans for the Pre-Admissions team, Pre-College Art Experience program and high school dedicated Admissions Representatives, including establishing new policies and procedure that focus on effectively engaging all prospective students and achieving performance objectives.
  • Provide outreach recommendations to the Vice President of Student Affairs to enhance the strategic enrollment plan for Academy of Art University as well as network with local high schools to increase on-campus tours.
  • Inspire, motivate and engage prospective students and families through various communication channels.
  • Manage the Pre-College Art Experience program. Ensure that accurate and up-to-date information regarding the Pre-College Art Experience and Academy offerings is provided to prospective students and families at all times.
  • Establish productivity parameters and expectations for the Pre-Admissions team and effectively and efficiently oversee Pre-Admissions functions and staff. Train and motivate Representatives, monitor performance parameters and ensure Representatives are consistently meeting expectations.
  • Demonstrate proactive management of assigned Admissions team in the areas of compliance, performance and training. Provide ongoing coaching to ensure all Representatives exhibit accurate, current and comprehensive program and admissions knowledge.
  • Promote the high school completion program to ensure long-term student engagement.  Strive to maintain high student retention rates as an essential facilitator responsibilities.
  • Monitor Pre-Admissions individual lesson plans and review progress on a weekly basis.
  • Troubleshoot connection, usage and other technological problems with or affecting the program’s functionality; communicate concerns to the designated administrative and/or IT staff.
  • Maintain and record classroom attendance, contact any student missing more than two (2) class sessions and report the information to the Vice President of Student Affairs.
  • Ensure effective implementation and tracking of all departmental and organizational policies and procedures.
  • Optimize utilization of departmental resources to better organize data and maintain stronger customer relations.
  • Demonstrate a passion for continuous improvement and implement practices that enhance the customer service experience.
  • Ensure all department functions are executed in a manner compliant with departmental and organizational policies and procedures, accreditation requirements as well as state and federal regulations.
  • Report compliance-related issues or concerns to the Academy’s Executive Vice President for Financial Aid and Compliance
  • Work evenings and weekends, as needed and as directed
