About the Role:
We are seeking a hands-on Accounts Receivable and Billing Admin to own the collections process and provide assistance/backup to our Billing Supervisor to the Invoca Accounting department. Invoca’s leading Software-as-a-Service product is sold on a recurring monthly basis. The successful applicant will be joining a fun, fast paced, high-growth company and will be involved in the building and improvement of business processes. Attention to detail and a positive outlook are musts.
You Will:
- Own the entire cash collections process, including collections communications with customers and applying customer payments
- Review outstanding A/R and provide weekly status updates on aging and estimated collection timing.
- Internal communications related to AR
- Assist accounting with reconciling all payments and collections.
- Serve as backup to our Billing Supervisor to perform billing (including manual billing) and related accounting/month end close tasks out of our Zuora and NetSuite platforms
- Other project based tasks as assigned
You Have:
- 4 year college degree in Accounting or related field preferred or equivalent experience
- 2 – 3 years experience in the collection process
- Zuora experience a plus
- Netsuite experience a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Extreme attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize
- Fast learner, ability to thrive in a high-energy, fast-paced environment
- Process orientation – You not only assumes ownership of existing processes but also look for opportunities to improve processes
- Positive attitude and work ethic
