CareDriver Support Supervisor

Student transportation is the largest mass transit system in the U.S. The way kids get to and from school has a direct impact on our kids, families, schools and communities. While school districts spend $28 billion annually on transportation, only 30% of kids get to school on a bus. The current system can no longer meet all the transportation needs of our districts, schools and families — and its shortcomings are causing inequities in educational access that are affecting the welfare of millions of kids each day.

HopSkipDrive is taking a different approach to arranging safe, reliable school transportation that meets needs that aren’t being addressed by the current system, helping to fill gaps and supplement the student transportation options available. What you’ll do

  • Help specialists resolve any issues that may come up during a ride using established company policy and protocols
    • Provide real-time answers to Specialist & CareDriver questions in Slack
  • Handle escalations on a tiered scale
  • Provide weekly Quality Assurance checks to Specialists 
  • Tracking attendance & performance of CareDriver Support Specialists
  • Provide feedback to specialists on a bi-weekly basis (1:1’s) 
  • Cover phones/chat during specialist absences or high volume needs

What we’re looking for

  • 1-2 years Customer service/call center experience at supervisor level
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet to resolve customer issues effectively.
  • Someone motivated by our mission and who embodies our core values 
  • Empathetic and patient demeanor, with a genuine desire to help customers.
  • Ability to work in a high volume environment, handling multiple customer inquiries simultaneously while maintaining high-quality service.
  • Be able to switch between tasks, software systems, and duties with speed and ease
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and remotely
  • Ability to recognize and resolve problems before they arise and report trends to management
  • Familiarity with popular CRMs and ATSs- especially Kustomer and Fountain
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word and Google Docs

Final compensation for this role will be determined by several factors such as a candidate’s relevant work experience, skill set and specific work location. The total compensation package for this role also includes equity stock options.
