Summary:

Seeking high energy, customer oriented candidates to work remotely to assist citizens with a variety of Community Based Service needs.

In addition to being organized and able to multitask, this role requires a go-getter with a positive attitude who is excited to work with great people all over the United States to achieve a common goal of superior customer support.

  • Must type 25 wpm or more to qualify

Responsibilities:

  • Using a computerized system, responds to Kentucky Medicaid provider inquiries in a call center environment using standard scripts and procedures.
  • Gathers information, assesses caller needs, research and resolves inquiries and documents calls.
  • Provides clear and concise information regarding eligibility, claim status and provider enrollment status.
  • Follows documented policies and procedures including call handling and escalations.
  • Overall acts as an advocate for the Medicaid Provider to ensure their needs are met.
  • Adhering to a break and lunch schedule defined by our Workforce Team
  • Root cause analysis as to why citizens are calling.

You need great people skills, patience and be able to multi-task to be good at this job. Other aspects of your background will include:

  • Great with active listening.  Not listening to talk but listening to understand. 
  • Attendance oriented.  Being here when you’re scheduled.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to read and interpret documents for customers
  • 1 year of customer service experience
  • Customer service driven; responsive to client issues and concerns
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Products (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)
  • Effective time management and multi-tasking skills.
  • Detail oriented and strong Organization skills
  • Willingness to submit to a pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check

Preferred Experience:

  • One of year medical insurance or medical office experience.
  • Computer system experience with data entry and database documentation knowledge.
  • Call center or professional office experience.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
  • Must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States.
  • Limited physical requirements: Typical office environment. Phone and keyboard for periods of time.
