Pedestrian Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash on Ocean Avenue in Lompoc

 
LOMPOC, CA (October 24, 2023) — A pedestrian died in a hit-and-run accident on Ocean Avenue near 12th Street Saturday evening.
 
According to the Lompoc Police Department, the hit-and-run pedestrian accident happened around 6:00 p.m. Saturday. Under unclear circumstances, a 42-year-old male pedestrian was hit by a driver who left the scene — a Home Depot parking lot in Lompoc.
 
Moments later, paramedics responded and rendered life-saving measures. However, the victim passed away.
