Niamh Rolston, Peyton Stewart, Asha Weir and Deslyn Williams Fatally Struck, Driver Fraser Bohm Arrested in Crash on Pacific Coast Highway near Rambla Vista

 
MALIBU, CA (October 19, 2023) — Niamh Rolston and four other college students died when a driver plowed into several cars, hitting the victims on Pacific Coast Highway near Rambla Vista.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the deadly pedestrian accident happened around 8:30 p.m. Tuesday. For an unknown reason, 22-year-old Fraser Michael Bohm lost control of his dark gray four-door sedan in the 21600 block of Pacific Coast Highway. Subsequently, his vehicle traveled onto the north shoulder of the highway, plowing into three parked vehicles.
 
As a result, those vehicles struck four females standing on the side of the road who would pass away shortly after.
 
Officials later identified the senior Pepperdine University victims as Niamh Rolston, Peyton Stewart, Asha Weir and Deslyn Williams.
 
Following the crash, police arrested Bohm, of Malibu, booking him on suspicion of vehicular manslaughter with gross negligence. However, police released him from custody Wednesday morning.
