Timothy George Struck, Killed by Vehicle in Pedestrian Crash on McCall Boulevard near Sherman Road

 
MENIFEE, CA (October 17, 2023) — Timothy George was hit and killed by a car in a pedestrian accident on McCall Boulevard near Sherman Road.
 
According to the Menifee Police Department, the hit-and-run happened around 10:15 p.m. Sunday. Under unclear circumstances, a driver traveling at an unknown speed struck 47-year-old George on the roadway.
 
Shortly after, traffic investigators responded and learned that the Hemet man was in the westbound lane when the Honda approached from the eastbound side and hit him.
 
Despite efforts to save him, Riverside County Fire Department paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene. Authorities determined that the uninjured driver was unable to respond accordingly since the victim was wearing non-reflective clothing.
