Fatal 2-Car Accident at Mojave Drive in Victorville

 
VICTORVILLE, CA (October 9, 2023) — One person died after two cars crashed at Mojave Drive and East Trail.
 
According to the Victorville Police, the fatal 2-car crash happened around 11:19 a.m. Friday. For an unknown reason, a driver of a gray pickup collided with the rear of a gray Chrysler PT Cruiser.
 
Shortly thereafter, paramedics responded and rendered life-saving efforts to the pickup truck driver. However, efforts fell short, and he passed away at the scene. One other person suffered unknown injuries and was taken to a hospital.
 
Information surrounding what led to the accident is unclear. However, witnesses believe a medical emergency might have factored into the cause. Due to the crash, Mojave Drive’s westbound lanes at El Evado Road were closed.
