At Least 1 Injured in Multi-Car Crash at Santa Anita Avenue in Arcadia

 
ARCADIA, CA (August 24, 2023) — At least one person was injured in a dump truck accident and spill at Santa Anita Avenue and Huntington Drive.
 
According to reports, the multi-car crash happened around 9:00 a.m. Wednesday. For unknown reasons, a dump truck full of dirt and concrete struck a fire hydrant and overturned. At some point during the crash, two other vehicles collided.
 
Moments after, Arcadia Fire Department officials arrived and found concrete pieces littering the road, further closing it. Officials helped free the dump truck driver from the vehicle.
 
At the time of the report, police officers had no confirmation of the cause of the accident. However, an investigation should confirm the cause.
