2 Men Die in Motorcycle Crash on Mt Whitney Avenue in Fresno County

 
FRESNO COUNTY, CA (August 21, 2023) — Two men died in a motorcycle accident on Mt Whitney Avenue near Garfield Avenue.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the deadly motorcycle crash happened around 9:00 p.m. Thursday. For an unknown reason, two men riding on separate motorcycles, traveling in the opposite direction on Mt Whitney Avenue, collided. Upon impact, the men, who reportedly knew each other, were ejected off their bikes.
 
Soon after, CHP officers and paramedics responded to the scene and learned that neither rider was wearing a helmet. In addition, it appeared that both motorcycles did not have working lights.
 
Both men perished in the crash. At this time, officials have not released their names, but an investigation should confirm any outstanding information.
