At Least 1 Hospitalized, 2 Big Rigs, Vehicle Crash on Highway 101 in Agoura Hills

 
AGOURA HILLS, CA (August 4, 2023) — At least one person reported injuries after two semi-trucks crashed on Highway 101 near Chesebro Road.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the multi-car accident happened Thursday around 1:10 a.m. For unknown reasons, a car crashed into a semi-truck in an unknown fashion. Subsequently, a second big rig, whose driver could not avoid the collision, plowed into the back end of the other rig, described as an Amazon truck.
 
Soon after, police and paramedics arrived and found the passenger vehicle, a dark-colored SUV, on its passenger side in the vegetation area off the road.
 
Police did not say what led to the accident, but an ongoing investigation should identify the details.
