Head-On Crash in Lompoc Leaves Three People Dead

 
LOMPOC, CA (June 7, 2023) – Three people died while Isidro Galvez and Erid Ortega were injured after a head-on accident in Lompoc Tuesday morning.
 
The fatal accident around just before 6:00 a.m. on Highway 1 just south of Constellation Road. According to the Santa Barbara County Fire Department, a Kia sedan was traveling southbound when it drifted to the left and into the opposing lanes. It then collided head-on into a Chevrolet pickup truck that was heading northbound.
 
As a result of the crash, three people in the sedan suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene. They were not yet identified.
 
Galvez, 52, and Ortega, 19, were occupants in the pickup truck. They sustained minor injuries and were taken to Marian Regional Medical Center by ground ambulance.
 
Drugs or alcohol do not appear to factors in the crash.
