Police in Philadelphia are looking for the fugitive suspect, who is described as a light-skinned black male, six feet tall, and of medium frame. He was last spotted carrying a backpack and wearing a white T-shirt and black shorts.

The car had just turned around the corner from Rouge on tiny Chancellor Street at 10.55 p.m. when it became caught behind a queue of traffic at the crossroads with 17th Street, according to cops.

The three passengers of the Mercedes stepped out to persuade the driver of a stopped vehicle to proceed.

As the drivers argued, a cyclist ‘interjected himself’ into the argument, according to Ryan. 

According to witnesses, Schellenger exchanged words with the biker, who then grabbed a huge knife from his bag and stabbed the developer in the back.

According to authorities, the attacker escaped on foot, leaving behind his bike and a bag used to transport food.

The real estate developer was sent to Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in critical condition. At 11:21 p.m., he was pronounced dead.

According to authorities, the other passenger in the Mercedes with Schellenger fled the scene before officers arrived, and investigators are looking for him.
