40 Best Fifa Songs of All Time

FIFA soundtracks have come a long way since Road To World Cup 98. Back also, six songs sounded like plenitude for a game where players would spend the utmost of their time immersed by crowd noise as they have a virtual kickabout with their favourite stars. Fifa soundtracks can launch minor artists onto the world stage, while also offering a miscellaneous blend that provides players with a sapience into different societies or introduces them to new artists or stripes entirely and this article will discuss the 40 best FIFA songs.

40. Kygo – ID | Fifa Songs

From FIFA 16

ID is a decent concession – it doesn’t point to an annoying voice,  but rather shirking map intentions for being a subtle and simple piece of stupefied bliss. Kygo later added lyrics to this one, courtesy of X Factor’s Ella Henderson. We prefer this interpretation, however.

39. Kasabian- Comeback Kid | Fifa Songs

From FIFA 17

This was a huge moment for EA – the moment they commissioned a theme song for their The Journey mode. And who differently would you ask to soundtrack such a thing? The fifth single from Kasabian’s 2017 reader For Crying Out Loud, Comeback Kid had FIFA song written all over it. A hark back to the classic days of knocking guitar and mellow basslines.

38. Caribou – Odessa | Fifa Songs

From FIFA 11

Another volition ultramodern classic, Odessa by Caribou has all the masses of being a song perfect for FIFA – it’s a fossil band, playing bright, loud synthesisers and though it gets wedged in your head, it’s not exactly going to get daytime play on Radio One.

37. The Strokes – Machu Picchu | Fifa Songs

From FIFA 12

The New York rockers ’ height came a little too early for the explosion of the FIFA song to be a miracle, with their alternate and third compendiums underwhelming fans. Machu Picchu, still, was a decent left turn for the band. Moody, different from the predictably- crashing guitars and bouncy enough to sing along to.

36. Disclosure – Omen Ft. Sam Smith | Fifa Songs

From FIFA 16

This was a great way of crowbaring a name as big as Sam Smith onto FIFA 16 without going down too proper route. The track has the usual stuttering beat and squelching synths that were all the rage when EA first started taking this curation business seriously, and though it was a big megahit, it now felt sensationalized or like it had overstayed its hello.

35. Sam Sparro – Black & Gold | Fifa Songs

From FIFA 09

Another one-megahit wonder, but damn, what a hit it was. Sam Sparro now really outgunned Black and Gold, though 21st Century Life and Basement Jaxx-backed Feeling’s Gone were also excellent. With its temperamental bass and various synths, however, this bone was knitter- made for custom-building yourself as a Liverpool striker. Not that Sparro planned that.

34. The Knocks – Awa Nift. Kah- Lo | Fifa Songs

From FIFA 20

A cult classic from FIFA 20, Awa Ni did numerous great FIFA songs – make you start tapping your fritters on the controller without realising it. A contagious beat, catchy lyrics and an ultramodern classic to help you drift away while zooming through a season on Career Mode.

33. The Automatic – Monster | Fifa Songs

From FIFA 08

Monster, by Welsh rockers, The Automatic, is the ultimate melodramatic tale of psychedelic drug use and scary late nights, Monster was one of the further memorable tracks from FIFA 08.

You get labelled ‘one hit wonder ’, it's not like we have faded without a trace

Robin Hawkins of the band claimed.

32. John Newman – Love Me Again | Fifa Songs

From FIFA 14

Is Love Me Again the topmost pop song ever? Well, that’s personal, so you can’t definitively tell us that it isn’t. But it’s not number one on this particular preamble.   Crashing pianos, brass, a contagious chorus and a driving meter make this one of the most Uncredited No. 1s of the 2010s.

31. Catfish and the Bottlemen –Postponed | Fifa Songs

From FIFA 17

When you feel that it all starts falling / And you feel like your luck needs changing.

Has there ever been a FIFA song with further apt lyrics? One to shut yourself in your bedroom to after losing 5-0 to that one mate from the academy who got under your skin. A song for a stopgap.

30. The Hoosiers – Goodbye Mr A | Fifa Songs

From FIFA 08

The silly pop of The Hoosiers sort of came out of nowhere around the mid-00s. Goodbye Mr. A – their biggest megahit – featured supereminent songster Irwin Sparkes playing FIFA on the videotape.

29. Oasis – Lyla | Fifa Songs

From FIFA 06

The dark brooding guitars coupled with Liam Gallagher’s aggressive wailing made Lyla the perfect song for preparing for a derby in career mode. Thomas Gravesen, indeed in virtual form, would be hella pumped for a trip to the Ibrox with this wurst on in the background.

28. MGMT – kids | Fifa Songs

From FIFA 09

Flashback to when MGMT was the coolest band in the world. When indie successes were written using nothing but a synthesiser and a kazoo? Of course you do, that was the same summer you won a treble with Feyenoord on career mode. This was the soundtrack of that noble period.

27. The 1975 – The City | Fifa Songs

From FIFA 14

The City by 1975 is generally all indie guitars, angsty lyrics and pop sensibilities. It sounds like it was born from a generation brought up with EA’s soundtracks, so nice to see it included in one.

25. Avicii – The Nights | Fifa Songs

From FIFA 15

One of the most cherished Anchor People, directors and hit-makers of the last 10 years– if not all time, really – Avicii had everything that EA loved big hooks, various sounds and a Scandinavian passport. The Nights is one of the most unashamedly faddish moments on any FIFA song ever, but it was a testament to the artist’s transcendent fashionability.

26. Bloc Party – Helicopter | Fifa Songs

From FIFA 06

They are one the most iconic bands of the UK music scene in the noughties. The Bloc party boast the stylish claim that anyone has to be a notorious AFC Bournemouth addict.

24. Seu Jorge – Tive Razao | Fifa Songs

From FIFA 06

Seu Jorge might be best known for his chine-chinking David Bowie covers in Portuguese, but FIFA fans of a certain stretch will know him as the soothing, scratchy voice on this mystical song. A great illustration of the phenomenal world music the FIFA bods collect every time for our harkening pleasure.

23. Tom Grennan – Found What I Have Been Looking For | Fifa Songs

From FIFA 18

Following the rebranding of the Premier League in the 2018 set up What I’ve Been Looking For was used by Sky Sports as their theme music for two seasons. The recorded interpretation – featuring lyrics of  Feel the Magic when they sing my name  – is incontinently recognisable.

22. The Dandy Warhols – We Used To Be Musketeers | Fifa Songs

From FIFA 04

The Dandy Warhols are more known for Bohemian Like You, an annoyingly ever-present, guitar-pop earworm from the early noughties that featured on every announcement and film caravan going. But We Used To Be Musketeers is better.

21. Scissor Sisters – Take Your Mama | Fifa Songs

From FIFA 05

To this day, this is one of those songs that’ll drop at marriage and beget mass confusion among bystanders who have no idea why so numerous straight men know every lyric. The fact is, everyone fell in love with this LGBTQ hymn on FIFA 2005.

20. Declan McKenna – Isombard | Fifa Songs

From FIFA 17

Declan McKenna shot to fame in 2014 after another of his songs, Brazil, entered wide radio play as a kick hymn against FIFA and the 2014 World Cup. We can only assume nothing at FIFA did their schoolwork when giving the youthful Englishman a platform on their 2017 interpretation.

19. Fatboy Slim – The Rockafella Skank | Fifa Songs

From FIFA 99

Fatboy Slim was on fire in the 90s. While Praise You and Right Then, Right Now has become synonymous with other sections of your brain, still, The Rockafella Skank can only conceivably take you back to low-res PS1 plates of Paul Scholes and Robbie Fowler.

18. Glass creatures – Heat swells | Fifa Songs

From FIFA 21

Oxfordshire's Glass creatures have gone stratospheric in recent times, with Heat swells twiddling up nearly two billion Spotify listens. Not bad considering your mum has presumably now heard of them. But this is where they caught fire for so numerous. With mellow synths and comforting chimes, this was a stunning follow-up to Youth – which also featured on FIFA.

17. Kasabian –L.S.F. | Fifa Songs

From FIFA 04

The perfect mix of citable lyrics, soothing basslines and comforting choruses, L.S.F could make you forget you had double wisdom the coming day as you milled- over whether to start Mateja Kezman or Adrian Mutu in your coming match.

16. Sam Fender – Play Gog | Fifa Songs

From FIFA 19

Another song that transcends gaming and stands alone as a superb song from the ultramodern period in its own right. Play God is a face-meltingly good tune, with a stupendous guitar variation and Fender’s phenomenal voice intertwining to turn the FIFA song in your bedroom into a beer-soaked jubilee roof. One of the all-time great songs in the game.

15. Society – Protocol | Fifa Songs

From FIFA 17

The crashing symbols, the important lyrics, the wailing lyrics. It belongs over the ending credits of a Guy Richie movie. Rather, we got to breathe it in after scoring a late winner with Adebayo Akinfenwa in League Two.

14. Muse – Supermassive Black Hole | Fifa Songs

From FIFA 07

This track was a defining piece of music in so numerous UK teenagers ’ minorities in the medial-' 00s, that it’s fitting that it also came to the background noise for when you were busy erecting a fearsome Southampton side with Vieira and Gattuso in midfield.

13. Disclosure – F For You | Fifa Songs

From FIFA 14

FIFA 14 saw F For You included – one of the lower-known tracks off the brace’s debut reader, Settle. It still slaps in the club, but if you’re a certain person, it evokes Luis Suarez and Neymar as much as it does all-night raves at Fabric.

12. Smallpools – featuring | Fifa Songs

From FIFA 14

Put this song and you are transported to a time when Liverpool had terrible accoutrements made by Warrior. Gareth Bale and Cristiano Ronaldo were the two biggest effects at Real Madrid. Times may change but featuring is eternal.

11. Lords of Leon – Red Morning Light | Fifa Songs

From FIFA 04

This was Lords of Leon at their peak, before the boyband haircuts and H&M dad shirts. They were hillbillies, and football wasn't their sport. They handed the music, while the forenamed greats, alongside an intolerably handsome Alessandro Del Piero, galloped about in the darkness. Lovely stuff.

10. Avelino, Skepta & Stormzy – Energy | Fifa Songs

From FIFA 18

This is arguably the most stylish rap song ever included on FIFA. It’s big, brash,  ideally produced and super-cool. Bijous from Stormzy and Skepta are nice, but nothing beats that Avelino lyric,

Why be a lamb when you can be the scapegoat? inconceivable.

9. The thoroughfares – Fit But You Know It | Fifa Songs

From FIFA 05

But I stopped sharking a  nanosecond to get chips and drinks.

gaping at a platoon selection runner with a mate (getting Shaun Wright-Phillips into the platoon is all that matters in multiplayer mode), the brace of you mumbling about that guy in the white shirt. It’s an unprintable wurst, we all know it, let’s move on.

8. The Caesars – Jerk It Out | Fifa Songs

From FIFA 04

Unlike some of the further soothing songs on this list – classics that tranquillize you into a calm and sedate place – haul It Out's parping organs snapped you out of it. This was a song you got stuff done to contract accommodations, press conferences,  political tinkering, you name it.

7. Mura Masa – Helpline Ft. Tom Tripp | Fifa Songs

From FIFA 18

Guernsey patron Mura Masa came out of nowhere in the middle of the 2010s. In numerous ways, he’s been shaped by the kinds of soundtracks that EA have been collecting since he was just a  lad.   The kidney- hopping tone-  named debut reader featured 12 songs – any of which would’ve felt at home on FIFA. As it was, the helpline made it on.

6. Chase & Status – No Problem | Fifa Songs

From  FIFA 12

No Problem, featuring Zimbabwean voice Takura Tendayi, has become a jungle classic. This was one of the highlights of FIFA 12 and it was proof that music's move from guitars to electronics might just be an explosive bone– just as tiki-taka was dying out for commodities a little more realistic, too.

5. Blur – Song 2 | Fifa Songs

From FIFA Road to World Cup 98

Song 2 was introduced for FIFA – the first proper loud, proper laddish hymn to be included in the game series, way back in FIFA 98. Yes, it’s the “Woohoo song ”.   The track was a big moment for London- the grounded band Blur, too. Breaking from the Britpop they’d defined, Song 2 was a fuzzy homage to grunge gods Nirvana that saw the band’s fashionability soar across the pond.

4. Kasabian – Club Foot | Fifa Songs

From FIFA 13

It’s been used by Arsenal, Aston Villa and Benfica as walk-on music before games. It was in the thing! movie. It was a  fave of Sky Sports.  Principal, Club Foot is one of the topmost football songs of all time. And there’s plenty of competition just from Kasabian themselves.

3. New Order – Blue Monday | Fifa Songs

From FIFA 05

Blue Monday is one of the most acclaimed pieces of music of all time, largely seen as a  corner moment in cotillion music, and it’s vented over a million clones across colourful performances and composites since its release in 1983. Seems weird to suppose it came from the soundtrack to your crazy FA Cup run with Nottingham Forest.

2. Gorillaz – 19- 2000( Soulchild remix) | Fifa Songs

 From FIFA 02

The definitive early 00s  wurst, 19- 2000 by Gorillaz impeccably straddled late-90s indie chorales and our post-millennium preoccupation with Anchor People and dance remixes.

1. Stone Roses – Fools Gold | Fifa Songs

From FIFA 04

This is one of the coolest songs ever written, and the classic of the FIFA  Kidney.   You could find yourself humming along to any musical section of' Fools Gold' on a given day the skiffle-barrel beat, the plodding bassline, the box guitar that chimed in nearly aimlessly or those lyrics you now bothered to learn.
