Continuations of "Wild Life" Silver Coins Series

The continuation of the Canadian "Wild Life" Silver Coin series after 2013 is "Birds of Prey", which launched in February 2014. Each coin has the following characteristics:

- Silver purity 99.99%;

- Diameter 38 mm;

- Thickness 5 mm;

- Weight about 31.104 g.;

- 1,000,000 coins;

- Artistic performance;

- Images of Rare Canadian bird species related to the country's history;

- Reasonable financial investment;

Four of Canada's most famous aerial predators take center stage in the design of this Coin Series, namely:

1. Peregrine Falcon

2. Bald Eagle

3. Red-tailed Hawk

The series was released with image enhancements in 2016 and 2017 in a limited edition.

The series is also available under the name Golden Enigma from 2017 with some special, additional features. It uses 24k yellow gold and 0.750 red gold.

Of interest is the Canadian "Grey Wolf" Silver Coin, which was first struck in 2016 as another continuation of the "Wild Life" series.

At the core of this coin is the love of the Canadian wolf and its enduring connection to the country's history. The coin is released in a set of 4 parts with the following characteristics:

  • 99.99% pure silver;

  • Weight for each coin /2, 3, 4, and 5 dollars/: 3.23, 7.96, 15.8, and 31.3 grams;

  • Diameter 20, 27, 34 and 38 mm;

  • Serrated relief for a more realistic representation of the wolf depicted on the coin;

  • Mintage 7,500, making the coin a rare collector's investment;

In 2021 a coin with special and additional features is minted that connects the wolf with the mythological idea of Yin and Yang balance, making the new item even more popular and valuable than its predecessor. Additional specifications are:

  • Yellow gold and black rhodium were added;

  • Face $20;

  • Weight 31.39 grams;

  • Matte finish;

  • Relief for greater design depth;

  • Two different artists were involved in the obverse and reverse, which greatly increases the value of the coin;

Interest in "Grey Wolf" is high because the number of wolf lovers is constantly increasing worldwide.

At the World Money Fair in March 2016 in Berlin, Germany and presented the "Predators" silver coin collection with the following features:

- 99.99% pure silver;

- Weight 31.1 grams;

- Diameter 38 mm;

- Thickness 3.29 mm;

- Micro-laser engraved maple leaf mark characteristic of base Canadian silver coins;

- In the center, there is a date of the year but a cut, visible by magnification;

- There are radial lines in the background field;

The design of the "Predators" series is based on popular predators that are of mass interest to wildlife lovers, namely:

1. "Cougar" - 2016 with a circulation of 1,000,000;

2. "Lynx" - 2017 with a circulation of 500,000;

3. "Wolf" - 2018 with a circulation of 300,000;

4. "Grizzly" - 2019 with a circulation of 500,000;

In addition to the Silver Coin Series and due to its appeal to collectors, a special gold and black rhodium edition called the "Golden Enigma" was created.

Limited production quantities make the "Predators" Series even more sought after over the years and its value increases. Coin connoisseurs always want to own the rarest and most unique collections.
