Startinup: Transform Your Ideas Into Reality

It's not about ideas. It's about making ideas happen.- Scott Belsky ( American Entrepreneur)

This line by Scott Belsky exemplifies how some brilliant ideas never become reality.

How often do you hear at a meeting, "That's a terrific idea, you should take the lead and make it a reality," What usually happens? Nothing most of the time. Because people lack the confidence, resources, time, and/or money to act, the majority of excellent ideas languish in obscurity. Moreover, most of the individuals who act are unprepared and end up wasting their important time and money on a goal that ultimately fails.

No matter how much time and money you invest, turning an idea into reality is never simple. As the old saying goes, “If it were easy – everyone would do it.

In reality, it is rather challenging. Whether you are a business owner or an executive in a corporation, "giving ideas life" is similar to giving birth to a child. Regardless of the situation, you must accept responsibility. No one will ever have the same understanding of your concept as you have, or the relationships involved. You are on your own in this sense.

Ideas are limitless; they can come to anybody, anywhere, but some excellent ideas never take off due to a lack of opportunity. Let's talk about India, in an aging world, India has one of the youngest populations. Our country now has a larger working-age population than non-working-age people. These young people in this working-age group are highly driven and have a range of objectives but what set them behind others are lack of opportunities for example,

If a person living in a three-tier city has a brilliant idea, the question of whether or not to move to a city with more opportunities for implementing it may cross their mind.

However, today times have changed. There are more than 50,000 startups in India. This data indicates how the economic outlook in India has drastically evolved over the past few decades. Beginning with the opening up of the economy, we have seen large enterprises grow from their humble beginnings.

Now, our Uttar Pradesh government has come up with different initiatives to support young minds who have entrepreneurial qualities sitting in different corners of the nation. We all know that metro cities have all kinds of better opportunities than small towns and villages whether it's for a job or a business but the government has come up with a project to support young talents from small two - three tier cities in the state of Uttar Pradesh called StartinUp.

StartinUp is a  project where the goal of the U.P government is to create a world-class startup ecosystem in the state by building a solid infrastructure and offering a supportive regulatory environment.

We'll talk about a few of the state's Entrepreneurs who have accomplished extraordinary things. In this article, we'll talk about two inspiring stories of entrepreneurs and how their businesses have benefited from the startup initiative.

Story of Vishwas Gupta founder of Farm2Families

Vishwas Gupta is an entrepreneur who runs a startup called Farm2Familes. In an exclusive interview, we covered his story where he talked about his startup, the problems he faced initially, and much more.

Why did you establish a startup?

I came up with a vision to make our people healthier in every way and this idea came to me when I was living in Uttarakhand and I volunteered with local farmers. Then I had a thought: Do people have any idea where this so-called organic food comes from? That's when I came up with an idea to build a startup in the agricultural space.

What does Farm2Families do?

There is a lot of buzz about organic products these days but no one is sure whether it's organic or not. Farm2Familes comes with a solution to this problem. Farm2Families is an aggregate platform where you can book your farmland. We have our application, once you download it you will get options and you can choose any by going through the reviews. You can book 1 piece of land. Not only land you can even choose farmers and vegetables according to your choice. We are having zero-waste land production and recycled farming technology where you can produce up to 28-30 vegetables at a time. Our key USP is that consumers can view CCTV footage of the entire farming process on their mobile devices, giving them the confidence that everything they are growing is chemical-free, organic, and grown on their land by their farmers.

Did you face any difficulty in dealing with an incubator?

No, I didn't face any such difficulty. They are very supportive. They offered me an office, mentoring, and a team as well as they even helped me to get connections.

Story of Yash Srivastava founder of Feeding Trends

Now let's move ahead with another outstanding story of Yash Srivastava, founder of Feeding Trends but before that let's throw some light on the boom of the creator's economy in India.

According to studies, the Indian creator economy is expanding at a compound annual pace of 25%, driven by remote employment, flexible office hours, and a resurgence of passion projects. More creators are considering it as a full-time career thanks to new monetization opportunities, and many established professionals are profiting from the creator economy as a side business.

Thanks to entrepreneurs and content agencies that are doing so much to support creators to monetize their passion. Yash Srivastava, founder of feeding trends is doing the same by helping creators to monetize their content. We talked to him about his idea of creating Feeding Trends and much more.

What was the idea of creating a platform like Feeding Trends?

When I was in college there was so much craze about Facebook but slowly people were lacking interest in it because of the lack of quality content on the platform. That's how I thought of building something where people can get value out of the content they consume.

What does the platform offer?

Feeding Trends is a platform for content creators who are experts in their field, enjoy writing, and have a plethora of information to impart to readers to inform or educate them on a variety of subjects. By monetizing their content, they may convert their passion into a reliable source of money. On the platform, we cover a wide range of topics including technology, culture, health, and much more.

The platform's USP is that creators only need to concentrate on writing content; our platform will take care of the technical aspects of content, such as keywords, SEO, and much more. This is because we built the platform using technologies that use content search results to automatically rank all of the content.

Do you believe that entrepreneurs still have to seek out opportunities in metro cities?

No, times have evolved tremendously. Every state and every city has opportunities. If I talk about Uttar Pradesh, our CM Yogi Adityanath has announced a $1 trillion economy in Uttar Pradesh, so there will be tremendous opportunities for everyone. People from all across the nation will start flocking to Uttar Pradesh for startup prospects in less than two to three years.

Recently, the CEO of Zoho Sridhar Vembu sir said that he is learning Hindi because he wants to be here, which is a huge statement coming from such a billionaire. With StartinUP the U.P government is doing everything it can to enable the city to compete on a global stage.

PapSwap Note

As was previously mentioned, entrepreneurs' ingenuity and capacity for original thought helped reroute the Indian economy. There is a tonne of intellectuals in India, and there is a tonne of room for entrepreneurship.

Additionally, with opportunities like StartinUp, entrepreneurship prospects are no longer limited to metro cities. The state government of U.P is offering all kinds of assistance to young entrepreneurs.

We covered two distinct stories of entrepreneurs who are doing great in their respective fields. They have got all possible help from the Uttar Pradesh government in terms of infrastructure, team, or mentoring. Yes, there are loopholes, but they will be addressed in the coming years.

Last but not least, aspiring entrepreneurs with creative ideas can draw inspiration from the stories of Vishwas Gupta, Yash Srivastava who have succeeded in turning their ideas into reality. The first step is to start, so don't hesitate if you have an idea you think is worth expanding.

We'll continue to share stories of successful entrepreneurs in the coming weeks so stay tuned. Please feel free to ask any questions or voice any doubts in the comment section.
